A Bit About Me…

Photo: Stephen Rickett

My first solo photography exhibition, A Year, burst onto the scene at The Royal Geographical Society in London back in 1998, kicking off an incredible journey!

Soon after, I landed an exciting year-long commission capturing daily life at the iconic Marylebone Cricket Club at Lord's Cricket Ground. From there, my lens took me on a whirlwind of projects across corporate, editorial, educational, and charity worlds, collaborating with impressive clients such as BackUp, Getty Images, Henley Royal Regatta, Lord’s Cricket Ground, O2, and Thrive.

My work has lit up galleries far and wide, from the prestigious Getty Images Gallery in London to the vibrant Affordable Art Fairs in London and New York City. My pieces have also graced the walls of The Royal Geographical Society, The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, The Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh and the stylish Chelsea Harbour Design Centre in London. It’s a thrilling ride bringing these visuals to life!

My credentials include:

  • BA in Communication: Rhetoric & Communication, University of Pittsburgh, USA

  • MA in Photography, University of Brighton, UK

  • Associate, The Royal Photographic Society, (ARPS), UK

  • Freeman, The Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers, (Stationers Company), UK

  • Fellow, The Royal Geographical Society (FRGS), UK

  • DBS Certified

I live in South London with my family combining commissioned work along with self-initiated projects for publishing.
